Vector Graphics

Students apply skills in Adobe Illustrator to design icons, logos, pattern designs, and digital illustrations. The digital photogram project demonstrates proficiency with the pen tool. The final project is to design a deck of playing cards. This challenge challenges my students to combine multiple techniques, address file management, and production methods for creating high-quality client comps.

International Recognition

SONY Camcorder Illustration by Alex Bowen placed in the SEMI-FINALS for the Adobe Design Achievement Awards. The ADAA is an international student competition organized by ADOBE. Alex created this photo-realistic illustration using the gradient mesh tool as a final project in my Vector Graphics course.
